This original French still life painting oil painting by French artist André Gouirand (1855–1918) captures the beauty of simple objects with refined elegance. A plate of ripe oranges rests at the center, their warm tones glowing against a dark, atmospheric background. Beside them, hints of flowers and greenery add depth and subtle color contrast, evoking the classical French still life tradition. Painted with a masterful eye for light and texture. Set in its original gilded frame and dating from the late 19th Century. Both the painting and frame have been recently restored and the restored frame has recently been re-gilded frame.
