Dating from the 19th century (Circa 1860-1870), this antique moody oil painting takes you to the Swiss mountains and the amazing Staubbachfall. A popular destination for hundreds of years, this canvas is unsigned but we can see that it's a French canvas from Provence, so likely a French painter traveling through Switzerland. This small oil painting has had some repairs but not noticeable on the front of the painting. Comes in a lovely gold gilt frame. Ready to be hang, and to be enjoyed for generations.
