RESERVED - C1920 - Antique Impressionist Peony Roses Oil Painting in Parisian Verdigris Bronze Frame
Dating from around 1920 and marked Paris on the back - A beautiful Impressionist floral antique oil painting with pink peony roses. It is very well painted with lovely impasto over the rose pedals and with the impressionist artist showing a high level of skill with the light falling on the flowers. This romantic antique flower oil painting will look beautiful in a kitchen, bedroom or as girls bedroom decor. This piece comes in a very ornate antique frame that has green overtime due to Verdigris. Verdigris is the process of bronze oxidisation, usually over the time of 100+ years as is the case with this frame. There is an old repair on the back of the painting, not very noticeable on the front of the work. The painting has recently been for a visit to the restorer for a professional cleaning and new varnish applied. This heirloom painting is ready to hang for another 100 years.

In the UK, it is not "FREE" but there is a reduced VAT of 5% paid at import.
