Good antique condition with age-related wear. The surface shows expected craquelure and minor signs of age. It was recently professionally cleaned and revarnished. Louis Van Engelen was a Belgian painter active in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, known for his tranquil landscapes, farm and rural life scenes.
