This piece is quite old and has seen a restorer a couple times in it's life. It has been put onto a new secondary canvas by a restorer, it was likely in the early 20th Century as they used dark coloured glue to hold the two canvases together. The painting also has some visible paint where it was repaired. A lovely decorative piece with quite some age. Please see all photos. This painting is signed in the bottom right wih a French name but unfortunately we can't make out the artist.

Amsterdam Curated will provide the appropriate certifications for the customs officials to ensure all qualified items will be shipped with this “Duty Free” classification. In the UK, it is not "FREE" but there is a reduced VAT of 5% paid at import.

A: As we do package all items very carefully with large amounts of quality packing materials, in the odd situation you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact our customer service team within 3 days of delivery with your order number and a description of the issue. We will provide instructions for returning the item at our expense and arrange for a replacement or refund.
