A wonderfully festive mid-20th-century Parisian floral still life, bringing together the traditional winter greenery of holly and mistletoe with delicate pale hellebores, often known as Christmas roses. Painted against a soft green background and presented in its handsome vintage gilt frame, it has a beautifully understated Christmas character without feeling overtly seasonal. The inclusion of hellebore, holly and mistletoe makes this unmistakably a winter composition. Hellebores have long been popularly known as Christmas roses because of their winter flowering, while holly and mistletoe are among the most enduring forms of European Christmas greenery.
Good vintage condition with age-related surface character consistent with its period. The decorative gilt frame retains a lovely aged patina with expected rubbing, marks and areas of historic wear.

In the UK, it is not "FREE" but there is a reduced VAT of 5% paid at import.

A: As we do package all items very carefully with large amounts of quality packing materials, in the odd situation you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact our customer service team within 3 days of delivery with your order number and a description of the issue.
